AW55 50SN - Solenoid Bushings
Omega Machine & Tool has made available a solenoid opening and closing tool that puts money in your pocket. Now you can disassemble, clean and replace worn solenoid bushings in your transmission's solenoids.
Now we have the bushings that are needed to repair the solenoids.
The price is 5.00 for each bushing. There are two bushings in each solenoid.
Save by buying 100 or more bushings and the price will be $4.75 each.
These bushings are for the AW55-50/51SN / A750 / A761 / AB60E / A960 transmissions. There are different bushings for the 09G/TF81-SC / TF80-SC transmissions.
If you're repairing a AW55-50SN you'll need 6 bushings. Our AW55-50SN solenoid tool works with the AW55-50SN, 09D, 09G, AF21/TF81 & TF80 transmission pressure control solenoids.

The AW 55-50SN clutch drum bushing is a slow mover. Rather than include it in our kits, when most builders probably won't replace it, we decided to make a separate kit with it and the steel sleeve. The sleeve must be removed to get the bushing out and is destroyed in the process.

Borg Warner 4473, 4481, 4482, 4484 Bushings
The BW4473 through BW4484 have sloppy fits where the front and rear shafts fit in the case. The drive gear bushing wears and the pilot bushing in the end of the rear output shaft wears and pretty soon you have too much slop in the gear train.
Restore the transfer case to like new condition with our new bushings kit for the BW4473, BW4481, BW4482, and BW4484 transfercases.

There are two size input shafts, therefor two different size bushing I.D.s The larger shaft is .873 in diameter and the small is .843. The kit for the larger shaft is part # 31500 and the small shaft takes kit # 44500.
The 4-5 clutch drum bushing is the only one that appears to be relatively trouble free. The bushing and sleeve that go into this drum come separately in kit number 31502.

4F27E Bushing Kit
A new bushing kit for the 4F27E transmission. One of the identified problems with this transmission is wear of the rear stator bushing, causing loss of TCC apply pressure. The new rear stator bushing, included in this kit, is a one piece design similar to the original one piece E40D case bushing first designed and produced by Omega Machine & Tool Inc. in 1994. This bushing addresses the trouble code P0741 which is the TCC stuck off.
The pump/converter bushing is available separately. Part number 92423

U660E Bushing Kit
Omega's newest bushing kit is for the U660E transmissions. This kit contains the pump bushing for the early pumps with a hub diameter of 1.698". With the addition of our U660E/U760E larger pump bushing, this kit fits years up to 2016. If you have a 2111 and later vehicle, you will need to order our 96423 pump bushing to have the correct size pump bushing.
