4L80E Forward drum repair sleeve TH180-3L30 Governor Bore Sleeves
The 4L80E forward drums become ring cut and one of the reasons is because the bushing in the drum fails or wears out. We've made a wider bushing for better support of the drum. If you are going to repair the ring cut area of the drum then you will need this steel sleeve. Machining of the drum is necessary to install this sleeve.

TH180/3L30 Governor Bore Repair Sleeves



The sleeve is used to repair the ring cut area of the governor bore at the rear of the TH180 transmission. These are most commonly used in the Post Office vehicles.

42RE & 48RE Extension Housing Repair Shim (.0435" thickness)



The extension housings on the 42RE-48RE have a habit of wearing the rear of the case where the snap ring is. This allows the bearing to move back and forth messing up your end-play. We have a precision cut steel washer in two different sizes that goes in the back of the case to position the bearing back in it's original location.

We have recently improved and upgraded the original 120361 washer, and it is no longer available. The new part number is 120363 shown above. It is the same thickness as the old 120361, .0560".

09G / TF60SN K2 Clutch Ring

The sleeve in the rear of the case becomes loose. This sleeve has a smaller inside diameter so that when you install in on the post in the rear of the case, it fits much tighter. This sleeve is the one mentioned in the instructions for our tool Part # 90330.

AW55-50SN Case Repair Sleeves

The AW 55-50SN transmission has many problems and one of the chief is with its bushings. The planetary bushing fails most often and we are seeing stator and sun gear bushings spinning out also.

The cause of this failure is the bore in the case where the transfer gear rides has worn off center. We can repair the case for you here or sell you a package of ten steel sleeves for you to repair yourself. We only sell these in packages of ten because this work must be done by a qualified machines shop and you will be needing more for future jobs. See picture here
